Dr Ashu Kapoor is a Research Fellow at the Australian Council for Educational Research (India) bringing over 15 years of expertise in education and research. At ACER, she contributes to both international and national commissioned research projects, focusing on contextualised assessment design, inclusive education, and teacher professional development. She holds a PhD in Education from the Central Institute of Education, University of Delhi. Her doctoral research explored how school culture and teaching-learning practices interact with the social class-cultural backgrounds of disadvantaged children, analysed through the lens of cultural capital and reproduction theory.
