Kellie Picker is a Research Fellow for the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER). Her research concentrates on early childhood education, with a particular focus on language and literacy development, the implementation of effective pedagogies for increased learning, as well as teacher training and professional development. Previously, Kellie was a researcher on the Teaching for Growth project at the University of Western Australia. She began her career as a classroom teacher and a learning enrichment specialist.
