Architect and author

Sarah Scott is an architect and principal of Scott and Ryland Architects, an established Sydney practice that specialises in Early Childhood Environments, Heritage and Residential projects. Sarah has designed and consulted on more than 50 Early Childhood Centres in the last 16 years, designing for children’s unique scale, perspective and sensory needs whilst also supporting each centre’s pedagogical focus. In 2008 she was awarded a Churchill Fellowship to study the design of Early Childhood Centres in Europe, Japan and America. She is the author of Architecture for Children, published by ACER Press.
