Dr Hilary Emery has worked in teaching, teacher education and education policy and in the children’s charity sector. Her interests are in assessment, especially peer and self-assessment, mental health and wellbeing in schools, using research to inform and improve pedagogy and practice, and managing effective change in schools. She is a Norham Fellow at the Department of Education at Oxford University and sits on AQA’s Curriculum and Assessment Committee.
