Dr Karin Oerlemans is the Principal Consultant at Kairos Consultancy and Training. She works cross-sectorial to support school teachers and academics understanding and implementing inclusive education for students who need additional support, drawing on a Universal Design for Learning framework. An Adjunct at the University of Canberra, she has worked extensively with academics there incorporating flexible and online learning methodologies supporting the learning needs of students. Her research focus is on curriculum development and implementation to create inclusive environments that authentically model the kind of world we want for our children.
