Kristy Forrest is an experienced senior school teacher, instructional coach and a keen academic with an interest in educational philosophy, implementing thinking pedagogies and the impact of technological and cultural shifts on students and educators. She has 15 years’ experience teaching English, Literature and Philosophy, and lecturing to graduate teachers at Melbourne Graduate School of Education. Kristy is interested in contemporary research on developing teacher expertise, particularly the interplay between building conceptual capacity and the effectiveness of instruction. She currently works as a senior English and Philosophy teacher and instructional coach at St Catherine’s School, Melbourne.
