Dr Leanne Fray is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Teachers and Teaching Research Centre at the University of Newcastle. A former primary school teacher, with a PhD in Sociology, her specific research interests centre on the aspirations and educational outcomes of students from regional and remote locations and those from low-SES backgrounds. Leanne is a core member of the research team that has been conducting rigorous empirical research into student aspirations since 2012.
