Today is World Teacher's Day in Australia. It has certainly been a landmark year for school communities with educators, students, parents and carers all swiftly adapting to a unique teaching and learning environment.
On this World Teacher's Day, Beyond Blue Chair Julia Gillard takes the opportunity to thank educators in Australia for their extraordinary efforts and resilience in a special video for Teacher.
‘Your compassion and professionalism have strengthened learning communities right around the country,' she reflects in the special message. ‘I'm sure I speak for many Australians when I say we recognise your commitment and we're grateful for your extraordinary efforts this year. Thank you.'
