David Smith has been Principal of Calrossy Anglican School in Tamworth, a Prep–Year 12 Boarding School of 960 students, since 2017. He has been a primary teacher, boarding housemaster, English head teacher and Head of Middle School in Sydney Schools for over 30 years. He is an avid reader, a keen sport fan and will watch and compete in anything involving a ball. David is currently coordinator of an AISNSW Regional Advisory Committee and is a keen advocate for best educational opportunities for regional and rural students.
