Roberta Thompson is a Research Fellow with Griffith Institute for Educational Research (GIER) at Griffith University, Queensland, Australia. Her research explores the interplay between young people’s everyday interactions with friends, gendered discourses, social media practice, identity construction, and online safety agendas. Roberta’s most recent research investigates design-based approaches for engaging young people in developing cyberbullying interventions to improve their online safety.
