Educators share advice with their peers

Our annual Teacher survey asked readers the question: ‘Looking back on your experience as an educator, if you could share one piece of advice with your peers, what would it be?'

From taking care of your physical and mental health, to undertaking robust professional development – there were plenty of suggestions offered up. Some of the key themes included the importance of building positive student-teacher relationships, maintaining wellbeing, professional learning, and never losing your sense of humour.

It doesn't matter whether you're a pre-service teacher or an experienced educator, we can all do with a little inspiration at times. Here, in this 75 second video, we have included a selection of tips from your peers in education.
