Professor Allyson Holbrook is Foundation Director of SORTI – The Centre for the Study of Research Training and Impact at the University of Newcastle – formed in 2000. She is currently (2021-) President of AARE and Assistant Dean Equity Diversity and Inclusion Staff in the new College of Human and Social Futures at the University of Newcastle. Her work on doctoral assessment and metacognition has been featured in symposia at national and international conferences and supported by six ARC Discovery Grants.
