Dr Amy Berry is a Research Fellow in the Education and Development Program at the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER). Amy’s expertise is in student engagement in learning, assessment, pedagogy and teacher professional learning. Her research program focuses on the pedagogy of student engagement in the primary classroom and teacher expectations for how students will engage in learning within the classroom. Amy has been lecturing at the Melbourne Graduate School of Education for the last six years. Prior to that, she worked as a primary school teacher in Queensland.
