Associate Professor Helen Askell-Williams (PhD) works on collaborative research projects including investigations about teachers' and learners' knowledge about learning, and about promoting student wellbeing and positive mental health. Helen has conducted focused interviews with teachers and students in Primary, Secondary, and University settings and has undertaken large-scale surveys to assess components of students' academic, social and emotional wellbeing. Currently, Helen is the lead researcher on an Australian Research Council Discovery Grant, investigating the sustainability of effective educational initiatives.
